Porcelain veneers consist of a thin shell of ceramic that is bonded to your teeth. This way, you can quickly achieve a beautiful new smile.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Porcelain veneers are crafted by a dental laboratory. After minimal reshaping, a scan is used to create the custom piece. You\u2019ll have the opportunity to have the color selected by the dental technician who will actually create the veneer. This ensures the most aesthetically pleasing result.<\/p>\n

Once the dental technician has finished creating your veneer, it will be bonded to your natural tooth by us. In the meantime, a temporary veneer will be made for you.<\/p>\n

A composite veneer is a relatively cost-effective solution to improve the appearance of your teeth.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Unlike porcelain veneers, a composite veneer is created directly in the mouth. It is a tooth-colored shell applied to the front of the tooth, made from the same material as white fillings. With veneers, we can fill gaps between your teeth, repair chipped corners, whiten discolored teeth, and conceal uneven or crooked teeth.<\/p>\n

After the tooth or teeth to be treated have been slightly roughened, the veneer can be created through the following steps:<\/p>\n

  1. A ring is placed in the mouth to keep your lip and cheek out of the way and to prevent saliva from interfering with the procedure.<\/li>\n
  2. Next, thin plastic strips will be inserted between the teeth and held in place with small wedges. This creates some pressure on the teeth, which is completely normal.<\/li>\n
  3. The composite veneers are then created by first treating the enamel with an acid and a bonding agent to ensure proper adhesion.<\/li>\n
  4. After that, layers of composite are applied one by one and hardened with a blue light, just like with regular fillings.<\/li>\n
